Lutheran Service Corps (LSC) is now part of Lutheran Volunteer Corps (LVC)! As of December 1st, 2008, LSC became a subsidiary of LVC. We remain our own nonprofit 501(c)(3) and will continue to fundraise and support our volunteers. Starting August 2009, LVC volunteers will be living in Hillstrom House and working with our partner agencies in Omaha.  If you would like to spend a year making a difference by actively participating in the lives of the poor, we'd like you to consider Lutheran Service Corps (LSC). At Lutheran Service Corps, we invite people to join with us in our mission and ministry to work toward justice for all. Together, we respond to the needs of our sisters and brothers, especially those who are poor and marginalized. Each volunteer lives in an intentional faith community and volunteers full time at one of several human service agencies in Omaha, Nebraska. Allow this to be the best year of your life, and an experience you will be forever grateful for. Please look around and see what we have to offer.
